A jury comprising of seven men and five women reached a verdict today in the involuntary manslaughter case against Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray.
They found Dr Conrad Murray GUILTY of killing Michael Jackson by way of Manslaughter!

Attorneys for the Houston-based cardiologist countered argued that Jackson was addicted to the drug and likely administered the fatal dose himself when Dr Murray left his bedroom.
9 of the 12 Jurors have prior jury experience and one woman, an immigrant from Spain, has served on 5 juries prior to this one, all of which reached verdicts i.e. did not get hung or a mis-trial. She was also jury forewoman once.

During the six-week trial, prosecutors portrayed Dr. Conrad Murray as a reckless physician who neglected and abandoned Michael Jackson while he was under the effects of propofol a powerful anesthetic on the day Jackson died – June 25, 2009.
