Running Log – Summary

I woke up at 5 AM today and could not fall back asleep. So I blogged until 7 AM and then decided I should go out for a slow paced “jog” / brisk walk. Since I am still feeling like sh*t, and recovering from the sickness, I decided not to run and over-exert myself for the rest of the week.
Running Log – Out into Pacific Height, Cow Hollow and Back
I headed out from my house, along Divisadero Street up to the top of Pacific Heights. I walked briskly instead of running, because I was coughing a lot on Wednesday after I came back from my run in Pacific Heights. I reached the top of the steep hill and was doing fine, so I headed down along Divisadero into Filbert Street.
Once I reached Filbert Street, I turned right and “jogged” along Filbert until I reached Steiner Street. At Steiner Street, I turned right again and headed up the hill all the way to the top of Pacific Heights. After that, I continued on Steiner Street, walking/”jogging” until I reach California Street.
I stopped by at the Molly Stones on California Street as I had run out of whipped cream for my daily Waffle-icious Breakfast! After that, I walk down on California street to my house.
All told, I covered 1.8 miles this morning. I am not sure when I will be able to recover enough to run the long distance saturday runs. I am taking it 1 day at a time right now!
