Local Ice Cream Shop Turns Beer Into Icecream. WOW !

I love beer. I also love ice-cream. So imagine my surprise when I discovered an ice-cream shop that turns beer into ice-cream, that too right here in San Francisco ! Our hottest local news website vidSF.com dispatched Analisa harangozo and Chris Grady to get the “scoop” on this hidden san francisco gem (see video review at the end of this post).

Mmmm.. Beer Icecream !!

Humphry Slocombe, located at 790 Harrison Street (intersected by 24th street) in San Francisco’s mission district does just that ! Each day, local brewers drop off a can of one of the many beers that they brew to Humphry Slocombe owner Jake Godby.  Godby then works his magic and turn the beer into delicious ice-cream in under 2 hours.

Word has it that you can actually taste the “bitterness”, “fruitness”, “wintery”ness of the hops.

Wouldn’t Homer Simpson love to get his hands (and mouth) on these ?
